ORBIZONE ALTERNATE GRAPHICS (1995)

Pangea Software's Asteroid-styled Orbizone for the Apple IIGS came with a readily editable graphics template. Around 1995 I drew new enemies and animations for six-and-a-bit levels (i.e. my pharaoh enemies on level seven only have one stage of three complete) and changed the colour palette for each level. I probably used both Cheap Paint and 8/16 Paint to do the artwork. The original game's levels all have a black space background. I tried to create different atmospheres by having backgrounds of other colours, and by changing the player's ship colours, too. The video below shows me loading my alt graphics and playing through all my levels.
